limkokwing as102: 80cube
so it’s been a while, huh. if busy isn’t the word for you; I had to setup my exhibition for the limkokwing university’s president, who is umm.. limkokwing in my second week, to run for vice president for architecture student & alumni association (fabesaa) in my third week and had to rush off to malacca for site visit in my fourth week. and hooray for I’m the vice president!
skip it. so in week 3 we had this mini showcase for our not-really-done first design project called the 80cube. the brief is basically to generate space out from two words and a 80mm x 80mm cube. and here’s the league of the best;
and that was aerina’s work. the best model our class can produce! feel the texture and materials, and woot, it’s a sectional model! done with chipboard, balsa wood, transparency sheets and mini-straws from starbucks.
ivan’s work. his work has gone more sophisticated since- but heck notice: the escalator! black marbles for floor is sure a great idea too
nurin’s work. that speaks for itself.
I’ve been known for my graphic presentation skills, so here’s the best I have came up with. geez, felt so proud when requested to pin up in front of the class! give me five, elvin!
my model? oh swell.
coming ahead: reflections exhibition, malacca museum of architecture and my architecture culture 101′s work. till then; ciao.
