this is my second model for 80cube, a refined one - it simply spells perfection to me. but bad news is that - IT IS STOLEN. right, some saboteur stole my model.
so, this is what exactly happens; I happen to store my model beside the other models in the cupboard of the studio. and when I returned the week after, which I wanted to show my refined work to the module coordinator, it is gone! what’s left is the background lighting case that is used to protect my model.
OK, I told the module coordinator and I think he understood my frustration, but I settled down thinking, if that culprit really thinks what he/she is doing affects me, then no, I’m not that weak. only you yourself know what you’re doing, and I won’t curse you. It’s your guilt not mine.
few photos of my model before it was stolen;
it was a nicely done sectional model. complete with human figures and texture.
the real load bearing component in the model is the glass beams connecting to vectorial left and right red steel columns. hence, the feeling of the slabs floating in the air.
the surfaces is completed with finishes. steel columns done with red marker, concrete slabs layered with tiled marbles and finally steel plates for the stairs.
the space was cascaded in series of modular arrangements, completing my interpretation of both words ’suspending and cascading’.
my work here is done, and may my model rest in peace.
