autodesk 2009 available, alternatively
sorry to have been away for such a long time, as I went on a flight to KL to attend the archidex 2008. nevermind those, let’s be aware that autodesk 2009 products for architecture is now released! they were;

  • autoCAD architecture 2009
  • revit architecture 2009
  • 3d studio max 2009

before you yelled at me that they were released ages ago, let me defend myself that I meant these products are now available, alternatively!

disclaimer: I do not encourage the use of illegitimate, pirated products and all information displayed here thereof are just educational. visiting the links in this post is therefore under your own responsibility.

autodesk autocad architecture 2009

every year autodesk releases autocad with added subtle features, so I won’t waste my time telling you all the new features. you could have checked it out at their site, don’t you? but being a ‘progressive’ architecture student, I tried my best to adapt myself to newest technologies and weanponry of architecture- hence the latest softwares in my lappy.

and mind you; there is difference between autocad 2009 and autocad architecture 2009.

autodesk revit architecture 2009

revit architecture 2009, a BIM (building information modelling) software from autodesk. well, there is much contradictory usage of the buzzword ‘BIM’ in the construction industry- but from my understanding; BIM is 3D and object-orientated, like when you’re creating a wall in BIM, it contains constructional properties rather than just a double line in a piece of paper.

more on understanding BIM;

I havn’t started with revit yet, but I kept it installed in case I have the mood to experience it. anyway, what I’m really focusing on now is;

autodesk 3ds max 2009

autodesk 3ds max 2009. 3d visualization software, just hoped if they released ‘3ds max architecture’. it is one of the best softwares for architectural visualization, and if you know how to wield this powerful tool properly, you can virtually blast your client/lecturer’s mind off.

how? 3ds max is capable of bringing not just superior renderings, but also cinematic effects. now, imagine instead of using some printed presentations, you used projectors to present your design with HDR multi-million-dolar-film-like video.

cool.

it is possible to download trials off the autodesk website and get another way to ‘register’ them indefinitely. anyway my advice for you is; be smart.
