if you are another heavy colour printing user, i think that one day too you will face this problem- so before that happens, i’m going to post some solution towards this case- alright, before that, let me explain few words about these two colour modes;
RGB colour mode stands for red, green and blue- the three primary colours that are used in our display interface; for best examples they are our monitor and the LCD projector.
CMYK colour mode stands for cyan, magenta, yellow and key- the colour system that are used in hard copy printing- whatever your colour printer is-
so by now we all know that we will set our photoshop document into CMYK colour mode for printing, or else the colour will distort- but do you notice that if you save that file and prefer to use mini-picture editing program to resize, crop or rotate the picture (for me, I use microsoft office picture manager, consume less memory and processing power of course).. you will get this nasty kind of error?

whenever I modified a bit and tried to save the image or to export the image; these errors would pop up;
- Some files could not be saved. Try to save files again. [Cancel Save]
- Some files could not be exported. Try to export files again. [Cancel Export]
even worse, the original file would vanish and gone just like that! so, save a double copy before you modify any image. next, I went to the microsoft support site and there is no such solution and finally i gave up picture manager. after considering acdsee and picasa (i have some bad experience with acdsee that the program creates a hidden file in every folder that contains picture) and finally i downloaded and installed picasa-
this time, thinking picasa would have a good reputation and i smelled something’s wrong when i opened the file again;

this is really a weird colour distortion opened by picasa- it shouldn’t be like that, and finally i figured what is wrong of all this- it’s exactly, the colour mode, the file was in CMYK colour mode in the first place, and while most pictured editing programs does not support CMYK, viewing the image is still possible in most cases-
solution; change the colour mode back to RGB by using adobe photoshop- here’s a simple guide on how to do that;

alright then save your file and case closed-
