architecture science 102 (2008) - design portfolio. I was awarded a 97, although my other subjects suffered quite heavily. hard times though- one model is stolen and the other model devastated, but fortunately fixed in time for moderation.

client house - scarpa canals. A public park that houses both a gallery and the studio residence of the Italian architect Carlo Scarpa. Site is throughoutly carved with canals of water streams from Malacca river, fulfilling Scarpa’s fond of water. Water brings dynamicism into static architecture , as it continously flow from one space to another, subtly yet delightful.

80 cube - cascading & suspending. The real load bearing component in the model is the glass beams connecting to vectorial left and right steel columns. Hence, the feeling of slabs floating in the air. The space is cascaded in a series of modular arrangements, completing the interpretation of both words; cascading and suspending.
